People are afraid that automation will take away the jobs. But who wants to work anyway? In today's world, 90% of the people work because they have to. It's boring, frustrating, and there is no way out. Only 10% work because they want to. What would your life look like if you had enough passive income, to do whatever you wanted to do, without worrying about a job to put food on the table? What if everyone had such a passive income? What would the world look like if everyone did what they loved to do, instead of doing something called "work" just to put the food on the table? This can be achieved eventually with automation. Only with automation. Food production, construction of houses, manufacturing of clothes, laying of roads, driving people around, managing traffic signals, monitoring health and pretty much every mundane task can be taken care of by the machines. The machines can grow enough food to last a generation. The machines can build homes to house all the people in the world. If this happens, everything will become so cheap that we can live without needing to work. Automation takes away the jobs, but it also makes things cheaper, in the long run. The wealth we have accumulated so far should be enough for us to live forever, without working. And no one would need a job. If someone wants to sleep all week, let them. If someone wants to read all day, let them. If someone wants to paint, sing songs, just run, or just get high all the time, let them. How would such a world look like? Don't we want such a world? Then we need to build it. Everything that we do today should be to get to that state of the world, where we are taken care of by the machines, and we can do 24/7 what we love to do. Else there is no point in living. We may not achieve it in this generation, but eventually we will.

**Life too short for a 9 to 5 job** 6 AM to 8 AM: Wake up. Get ready. Kids. School. Breakfast. 8 AM to 9 AM: Commute. Reach office. 9 AM to 6 PM: Work. 6 PM to 7 PM: Commute. Reach home. 7 PM to 8 PM: Unwind. Kids. School. Dinner. 8 PM to 10 PM: Me Time. 20 missed calls can wait. 10 PM to 6 AM: Sleep. If you don’t have kids, you get couple of extra hours per day. If you live closer to work, you save time on commute. But, the ever increasing work load & agile deadlines can eat away time saved elsewhere. If you manage to restrict work to office hours, you do get 2 hours everyday for self. You get paid on time, pay your bills on time and save some money. That’s great. But, wait, there are too many things that can go wrong in this setup. And quite often they do. Layoffs Reorgs Cost cutting Ageism Politics Location Culture Manager Client Salary Work Co-workers Timings Health Relationships While a 9–5 setup does have some advantages (especially when you have no capital to run your own show), you end up firefighting a lot of issues listed above, in vain, which add no value in the long run. Instead of reskilling and solving bigger problems year after year, you end up politicking to save your job or to move up just an inch. I can’t see how that is the best use of one’s life.

I have my account in Unocoin for the last 5 months, day before yesterday I received an update from Unocoin which says Dear user, This is an informatory mail to help you understand the stance of Unocoin on the ongoing upgradation and activation of 'Segregated Witness' on to the Bitcoin network. In the midst of all the serious network upgradation roadmaps, we would like to inform that Unocoin is equipped with a proper contingency plan either in the event of 'UASF', 'Segwit2x upgrade' or a 'network split' by supporting the chain with majority which likely is segwit enabled. However, Unocoin has not planned or equipped to support other shorter and weaker chains if they pop up. We would be sharing a detailed maintenance schedule of our website for July 30th - 4th August to avoid any loss of customer's coins via replay attacks and to choose the longer and safer chain to go with. We may have to extend this maintenance if the need be. User's are always recommended to hold their coins with themselves for complete authority/choice of chain over the network split instead of holding them in their Unocoin wallets.  They also recommended to send the bitcoin holdings into a paper/hardware/software wallet which is in your possession and you control their private keys. What's your take on this ?
