So yesterday Microsoft acquired GitHub, now people started moving their private repo from GitHub to either BitBucket or GitLab. GitLab company sensed this opportunity and they have started to analyze the trend. The trend was seen as #movingtogitlab in Twitter, thus GitLab was fast to acknowledge the fact and created a blog post - https://about.gitlab.com/2018/06/03/movingtogitlab/. This was the trend seen in Twitter.  PC : https://twitter.com/vicinitas_io They have also created a Video explaining how to Move from GitHub to GitLab and giving discounts to the new users "New users get a 75% discount on GitLab's top tier plans" Note : Video taken from youtube and its not mine. ## This is called as a great marketing Strategy.

We see a lot of Products getting into the physical market being a competitor and they run the promotion for the people. Promotion, because they want people to know about their product so that people can buy it. Most of the times these promotions target their competitors, i.e. instead of showing their qualities, they try to find the negatives in other products. These type of products or people cannot succeed because instead of finding faults in your product if you find fault in other products, how do you know that what is the shortcomings in your product. Whenever I go to buy any product and if the person compares that product with other products and tell me the negative of that product, I will make sure I will never buy a product from that place, because he is not telling me the good things about his product and that's what I want to know.

SteemSTEM Chrome/Firefox Extension will give you a list of BlackList, Whitelist and GreyList Users thus the header will turn Red, Green or Grey accordingly. #### Initial Release In the initial release, I have created an array of BlackList and Whitelist users and thus whenever a user opens any Steemit user link it will check if the user is Blacklist or Whitelist. But this approach has a shortcoming that if the user list has to be updated we have to release a new version of the extension. ### Subsequent Release In the subsequent releases, I have been working to find out how to give the managers of SteemStem the option of editing the user list. I used Google Sheet, but somehow the values are not getting updated in the extension. Creating a service will be an overhead. ### Last Release I thought of creating a GitHub Repo which will serve as an API where we will keep the json file of all the user list. In the chrome extension we have to use XMLHttpRequest class to retrieve them. The problem arose here is that XMLHttpRequest can be called regularly only in background.js and the values of that should be passed to contentscript.js. Do you know 2016 and 2017 were the hottest year and it can be repeated in 2018 as well? Now whom to blame for increasing temperature, it is none other than Humans. Heat Wave is increasing in cities because it traps heat due to lack of tree cover and paved surface. As a recent example, I was reading news where it was written "10 trees were cut to improve the visibility of hoarding" in Bangalore. Why the hell would you cut trees to improve the hoarding visibility and that too 10 trees, you can change the location of the hoarding and not cut trees. We are making progress in terms of having renewable energy, zero-carbon nuclear power, energy efficiency technologies, and electric vehicles but those are not enough. The very existent of human kind is trees and plants, whereas India in have lost close to 10.6 million hectares green cover between 1999 to 2013. Amidst all this, there are good news too. Recently I came accross an event where they stated that from the last 395+ Sundays they are planting trees and also maintaining it, and their 400th Sunday will be on 1st July.
