Habits that leads to Depression and how to come out of it

    habits-that-leads-to-depression-and-how-to-come-out-of-it

If you ever felt hopelessness( felt like there is no hope for anything happening good) then you have experienced the ill effects of depression. It is appropriate for me too say that depression is like an illness where it takes all the energy and pleasure out from you. There are many thing that can lead you to depression. ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmegGgkgVMhYJVtXEgofZ8a9PAWyDGgM45TausQHLymQqB/image.png) PC : [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/p-242024/?no_redirect![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXTyRmk85Sc7vvfpkCjBLodneGJN8Hhgdekz3Ycv1BDX6/image.png)) In this post we will figure out what are the main habits that leads you to depression.

**1 : Lack of Exercise -** Do you aware of how much important is exercise for our body, not only physical but also for your mental health. Have you ever gone for a walk in the evening or in the morning, there is so much energy outside that will make you feel alive. Staying in home all day and not doing any physical activity can lead to depression. You will become lazy and become oversize which again can lead to depression becuase it will reduce the confidence you have in yourself. **To come out of depression -** The simple remedy of coming out of depression is to start exercise. I am not telling you to go and hit the gym and become a bodybuilder. But a casual walk in the morning or evening can make a monumental difference if you are suffering from depression.
**2 : Sleeping Habits -** If you have a poor sleeping habits then that situation is ideal for depression. It is necessary for human body to get atleast 7 hours sleep daily. That does not mean that you should sleep anytime and make that 7 hours, you should have a proper sleeping routine. Lack of sleep will make you agitated thus eventually leads you to depression. Again if you are stressed you will not get the sleep you want. **To come out of depression -** Sleep at least 7-8 hours daily with proper routine like 10 PM sleep and 6 AM wakeup. If you take enough rest your mind is always clear and then it helps you to reduce the stress as well.
![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmS6Lqdj4XuDRrQbofbNdaUhN5wyarnYUz8ZS8ckbfycCE/image.png) PC : [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/p-689453/?no_redirect) **3 : Isolation State -** Keeping oneself in Isolation is one more habit of getting depressed. When you start avoiding friends and family, then you are getting into a situation which is ideal for depression. It is worst thing for an individual to be alone or to be isolated. **To come out of depression -** Talk to friends and families atleat once a day. Talk about all the positive thing happen in a day, it is always important to be connected with other people no matter whatever situation you are in.
**4 : Dont' think too much -** Negative thinking about anything is the major cause of depression. It is like a cancer to keep thinking about whatever has happened. See, you cannot change anything whatever has happened but by over-thinking about that you are doing more damage to yourself. These things are out of your control and by just thinking you cannot change it and eventually it will make you depressed. **To come out of depression -** Always try to redirect your attention to more positive things in your life than the things you cannot change. If you cannot ignore the fact, then what you should write whatever you have in mind and flush it. It will make you feel better.

Focus on your Goals like an Eagle

    September 04, 2017
    focus-on-your-goals-like-an-eagle

If you have dreams then your are alive, if you have goals set in your life then you are surely going to achieve something in life. It is so much required in this era to set your goals be it anything. You can start the goals as small as possible. The goal can be writing a blog post on Steemit (that's a very well defined goal). ![](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ad/The\_eagle\_says-\_%22look\_at\_tha\_boootey%22.jpg) By Ashishpaul777 (Own work) [CC BY-SA 4.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0)], via Wikimedia Commons Now since you have defined your goal, you have to be focused on your goals and the best way to be focused is to be like an Eagle. But why like an Eagle? Have you ever noticed an Eagle when it is waiting. They seem to be so majestic, poised and elegant when they patiently wait and scan the horizon. Now the real question is what Eagle does different. **Being Focus** - Eagles have the tremendous ability to be focus on things what matters the most to them and just ignore what does not matter to them. **Confidence in achieving something**- They seem to be the most confident when they see an opportunity. They know they will get success no matter what happens and they do not get anxious or frustrated easily. **Strong Foundation** - Eagle always try to strengthen their foundation thus giving them the advantage of sailing through whatever storm comes into their way. So if you are not like an Eagle in any situation be it looking out for a new job, or getting the college admission or even getting a good post payout here in Steemit then my suggestion would become an Eagle. Turn into an Eagle, you will sail through your goals easily. ## **Upvote, Follow, Resteem** [**@codingdefined**](https://steemit.com/@codingdefined)

    Can art be expensive?

    September 04, 2017
    can-art-be-expensive

Yesterday I went to an art show to SR Kalimat Art Exhibition in UB City Bangalore. The art is mainly in Arabic which I dont understand. But the main point of this post does art can be expensive so that common people could not buy it. All the art which was shown was more than Rs 1,50,000 that is roughly around $2400. I am not commenting on the art because since I do not know Arabic it is very wrong on my part to comment on the art or artist. About the artist ![IMG_20170903_161953.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmNfq5KCnErppyrUdw116GwpGBh2y6vd9GyB5EBHaW5ciu/IMG_20170903_161953.jpg) Sharing the images of the art. 1. #TheUnmentionables - a SteemIt community full of members who like to kick ass, take names, and occassionally do it wearing (or forgetting to wear) our unmentionables...

    ![image.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbLdfyoz8excwV5zhMFdXAHpxtHYk3113sUmNadF2R2b1/image.png)

Then we have the PERFECT home for you, Steemians!!

It's about that time again that we degenerate, low-life pieces of SteemIt dirtbags came back at you with our next round of recruitment for our latest endeavor, #TheUnmentionables!

In case you *haven't heard about this pretty FUCKING awesome group that's the new kids on the block*, then let me give you the quick run down:

    JOIN US HERE: https://discord.gg/4UqNjs2

  • We love our group members. Seriously.
  • Group members are our #1 priority. We answer your questions, we help you with your problems, we help you SUCCEED.
  • Group members are EXPECTED to help other group members succeed - how? Obviously, by helping each other out!
  • Group members are allowed to upvote, resteem, share their posts, and so on and so forth, so long as it's not the typical *dump and run* tactics that we tend to see elsewhere. That shit does NOT FLY with out group.
  • We have an upvote bot that we are currently MANUALLY growing and delegating our own personal SP and group rewards to.
  • Leaders, moderators, greeters, and mentors are each allowed to help choose up to 10 posts per day that we feel truly deserve a curation vote for the day - then, once these posts have been picked, our new group account, @unmentionable (give us a follow!) goes on and upvotes the post and drops a comment acknowledging the fact we've left a FULL upvote on said post.
  • Our posts are currently only worth about $0.18-$0.20 on any given day - however, we are about to launch a delegation initiative which will quickly increase this delegation and upvote number dramatically.
  • We are currently looking to recruit more members that are looking to contribute to the group in roles on LEADERSHIP - that is, members that wish to become moderators, mentors, greeters, etc. We have application forms for each position in channels in our group.

    JOIN US HERE: https://discord.gg/4UqNjs2

  • We are still developing group rules and an FAQ page - please, bear with us as we develop. I (@FatPandaDesign) once again currently just got out of the hospital, and the moderators had to step up and help take care of business while I managed my health - however, with the return of @AdamTilsley, our 2nd group leader, things will be picking up dramatically.
  • We've also decided as a group that, on a soft-cap basis, there will be a 250 member maximum post amount.

Once we hit this level, we will be evaluating the members currently in the group - members that are in, but are found to be inactive for over X period of time or are simply link dumping and disappearing without contributing, will be warned ONCE - if the trend continued, they will be removed without warning, and replaced with members that actually with to be here.
Our hard cap has been decided, at this point, to be a total of 500 members LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP.
This means that no matter what, once we hit 500 members, no more will be allowed in.
We may expand and allow brother/sister groups to form and ally with us in full cooperation and collaboration with our efforts, but #TheUnmentionables will forever remain the max of 500 members.

Our main goal is and ALWAYS will remain this: for our members to ENGAGE ONE ANOTHER, TO SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER, AND TO FOCUS ON BUILDING AND MAINTAINING MEANINGFUL, LASTING RELATIONSHIPS.

If you've been on SteemIt long enough, you've clearly noticed that by engaging in these extremely important activities, that the money follows only AFTER you've followed, applied, and embraced these policies yourself on a consistent basis, as well as then started creating amazing content. So, do you think you have what it takes to join our group, make some new friends, become one of #TheUnmentionables, and start earning some extra money on your posts while joining a community of members that actually gives a shit about every single one of its members?

  • Plants are the Ultimate Giver

    September 03, 2017
    plants-are-the-ultimate-giver

Plants not only gives Oxygen to the humans there are much more things which plants give. This post is dedicated to all people who love plants and would like to continue working to give them the space they require. So what plants give us, the answer would be Oxygen. But it will not wrong to say that it also increases the humidity in the environment thus helps in rain to some extent. Have you ever played or walked in the park, isn't your mood get refreshed automatically. This is because of the plants in the park, they help to improve the mood and health to all the people who spend their time near them. Thus I have talked the necessary things which plants actually give, but there are so many things plants gives us whether its food, paper etc. Have we given anything to the plant? Just think about it. Yesterday I was going through the road and I found an interesting thing. There was a Tulsi plant which was almost dead but before dying also they have given the world something as beautiful as oneself and that is a baby plant. The original dead tulsi plant. ![IMG_20170902_170604.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQGK71Ah59ZzPDQSJfzMwuXB24Ee53S4Ni3KWEFecruKs/IMG_20170902_170604.jpg) The baby tulsi plant ![IMG_20170902_170610.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmNcVpXiXxiLop7tYCvx2pX2yGBRFCfsjyusqkspkKLzm7/IMG_20170902_170610.jpg) And they are not alone, they are so many of them. ### One thing I learn yesterday that "Plants are the Universal / Ultimate Giver". So if you are stresses, depressed just spend time with the plants or trees they will never dissapoint you. ## Upvote, Follow, Resteem @codingdefined

What is Stress - The Good, The Bad or The Ugly

    September 02, 2017
    what-is-stress-the-good-the-bad-or-the-ugly

    ### What Is Stress? ### Stress can be defined as anything that poses a challenge or threat to our or any individual's wellbeing is a stress. But stress is not always bad. Some stresses helps us to get going and are good for us (as I said the good or the bad, can be ugly too). ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbGysLXmFnjwCjvLb8zXzQv7L5EDvzB7sHAR3AffDLNrU/image.png) Image from Pixabay The Stress response is the body’s way of protecting us. When we work properly it helps us to stay focused, energetic and alert. Stress helps us to put the brakes to avoid an accident, thus we can say it also helps us to save our lives. These are the good parts of the stress. When we are stressed our blood pressure rises, breathing becomes more rapid, heart rate rises and muscles become tense. For me the most common symptoms of stress is that I not able to sleep, during my engineering I can hardly sleep for 2 hours before the exams. What's stressful for me may be quite different from what's stressful to someone else. For example, I get terrified on getting up in front of people and speak (in a toasmaste session), whereas most of the people I know do it at ease. Someone performs extremely well under pressure while someone shuts down when work demands escalate. Stress is difficult to define as it is so different for each of us. A good example can be observing people in a steep roller coaster ride some people enjoys it a lot whereas some shuts their eyes and waiting it to be over as soon as possible. So, my question to all of you **Was the roller coaster ride stressful?** The conditions and pressures that purpose stress is referred to as stressors. We usually think of stressors as being negative, such as an exhausting work schedule or a rocky relationship. But, whatever that places excessive needs on you or forces you to regulate may be stressful. This consists of advantageous activities consisting of getting married, shopping for a house, going to university, or receiving a promotion. ### There are mainly four types of stresses ### • Eustress – It is a short term stress which provides immediate strength. • Distress - Distress is a negative stress brought about by constant readjustments or alterations in a routine. • Hyper stress – Hyper stress occurs when an individual is pushed beyond how much you can handle. • Hypo stress - Hypo stress occurs when an individual is bored or unchallenged. ### How to reduce the stress at work. 1. Recognize warning signs of excessive stress at work which can be due to trouble concentrating, losing interest on work. 2. Reduce work stress by taking care of yourself by having good food, doing exercise. 3. Reduce job stress by organizing and planning beforehand, so that you will not get extra pressure on last minute. 4. You can even approach managers or employers to get assistance of how they manage their work stress. ### You can even remember four A’s to manage your stress. And that is ### Avoid i.e. Avoid Unnecessary Stress, Alter i.e. Alter the situation, Adapt i.e. Adapt to the Situation and Accept i.e. Accept the things you cannot change. “God will never give you anything you can’t handle, so don’t stress”. ## Upvote, Follow, Resteem @codingdefined
