    ### Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness. ### **Akhand Diya** - Akhand Diya is been used by devotees in the festival which will burn throughout the day and night. The meaning of Akhand Diya is simple that to never lose hope even in worst circumstances just like the little Diya lights even the darkest places. Let's the light bring knowledge in our life just like the small Diya / candle brings life to the darkness. Let's all hope that light should bring happiness and hope to each and every individual through out the world. ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVJpH5Ls3Bxee7usYBwsWZFTB6vmS7gAPE3rsuWMirAKz/image.png) #### [Check Out Seek the light and find a way - Part 1](https://steemit.com/photo/@codingdefined/seek-the-light-and-find-a-way) #### [Check Out Seek the light and find a way - Part 2](https://steemit.com/photo/@codingdefined/seek-the-light-and-find-a-way-part-2) ## Upvote, Follow, Resteem @codingdefined

We all thrive for an amazing holiday be it a beach, hill station or a farm house in the calm and serene place. Since we are so much busy in our day to day life we usually ignore the beauty of a simple thing. I am sharing some of the amazing views which we failed to notice in the midst of all the beauties around the world. These pictures were taken from my hotel room in Ooty, which is one of the hill station in Southern part of India. According to Wikipedia : >Udagamandalam (also Ootacamund) and abbreviated as Udhagai and Ooty is a town and municipality in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 86 km north of Coimbatore and 158 km south of Mysore and is the capital of the Nilgiris district. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. >Originally occupied by the Toda, the area came under the rule of the East India Company at the end of the 18th century. The economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with the manufacture of medicines and photographic film. The town is connected by the Nilgiri ghat roads and Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Its natural environment attracts tourists and it is a popular summer destination. As of 2011, the town had a population of 88,430. ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZPDdbPjePP3cYZE2HPdBbF4Rn7x9GVJFU5R9GLeMMnpj/image.png) ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQSsroouvY5ufxCRpmY8FAh3ovUwagDYfaKRzTHy9Unbb/image.png) ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmeDdFd3ntCLt3uvE618rk5XB6FgpYuGSitnSFRhrVY62c/image.png) # Upvote, Follow, Resteem @codingdefined

    ### Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness. ### This image was taken last night while going home in Bangalore, India. There is only one light on the street. I have tried to keep the focus on the flower. Are you Vegetarian?

    August 24, 2017
    are-you-vegetarian

    ### I would like to ask you a question "Are you Vegetarian?". ## I once had a conversation with my friend on being vegetarian. He asked me Are you Vegetarian?, I said Yes. Then he said that he is also a Vegetarian but he eats fish. I said dude seriously you eat fish and you are saying you are vegetarian. **A Vegetarian is a person who does not eat meat, poultry, egg, and fish** #### Vegetarians are classified in three ways. #### 1. Vegans or total vegetarians who exclude all animal products(meat, poultry, fish, eggs, milk and other dairy products). Many vegans also do not eat honey. 2. Lactovegetarians exclude meat, poultry, fish, and eggs but include dairy products. 3. Lacto-ovo-vegetarians exclude meat, poultry, and fish but include dairy products. and eggs. Now the funny part, "How a friend will introduce you to his friends if you are a vegetarian?". Hey, all this is my friend and he is a vegetarian. Seriously this is the introduction! Now coming to the health benefit of being vegetarian. Do you know Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg and many are becoming vegetarian due to the health concerns? According to American Diabetic Association vegetarians are at lower risk for developing Heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and hypertension. There are a number of reasons for becoming vegetarian. Some people are vegetarian because they are following some religion. Some people are vegetarian because they are against animal cruelty. Some believe that being vegetarian is overall a healthy diet to follow. How many times have you asked a vegetarian why they are vegetarian and end up having an argument with them. The most common question to vegetarians is, what you eat since you don't have enough varieties of food. According to a great scientist Einstein: "Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet." And I can proudly say I am a Vegeterian.
