Eagerly waiting for Shri Ganesha Festival
August 21, 2017Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is the Hindu festival that is celebrated all over India but mainly in Maharashtra and Karnataka. We start the festival with the installation of Ganesha clay idols privately in homes, or publicly on elaborate pandals and it is celebrated for a day and a half, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days or 11 days depending on the family tradition and commitment of each individual. Few pictures of Last Year's Ganesha Festival. In Bangalore they decorate each street with lights. In our office also it is celebrated but in the small form This year the preparation has been started because Ganesh Chaturthi is been celebrated on 25th August i.e. only 4 days to go. You will see all the Ganesha Idols are being getting sold on the footpaths. Hope you liked it.
