Flash Light Making a Difference - Smartphone Photography

    July 02, 2018

So I was just curious to know how flashlight of a mobile phone will make a difference if there is enough light to take pictures. It came out quite well, where we can see visual differences between the two. Though it was an evening where there was no sunlight, that means there would be sight changes though you can hardly find any difference in sunlight. Do let me know which one you liked the most :) With Flash Light On ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/1ckmoeg4d0.jpg) Without Flash Light ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/89g38nn0bc.jpg) Camera : Nokia 6

Start working on your Project Ideas

    June 27, 2018
    start-working-on-your-project-ideas

As a newbie programmer, we all think of creating an awesome product which will fetch a lot of money or it will make you famous and they do have a lot of ideas to do it but lacking the skill or mindset for fulfilling it. The problem now-a-days with lot of programmers including me is that we want to build projects but do not know how to start or go about it, like what technology to use or will it be successful or not. Also some of us do want to start projects but are stuck about ideas. But to remind everyone that none of the idea is small or big if it solves someone's problem. For that problem your idea or solution will always be great.

    ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXJYUkipNqU8J1vPTcDfj649yHnmfkz6fdDKsdDZQQFSp/image.png) [Source](https://pixabay.com/en/board-school-self-confidence-2433978/)
I learned the hard way that we should never think about whether the idea will be successful or not but keep the confidence in me that hopefully my project will benefit that one guy who will use it. Thus its all about the mindset and confidence which helps you to build something. Confidence means that you are facing your fears or concerns and putting yourself out there and do something for yourself. Confidence is something where you have a small idea, you will go for it and work for it and try to make it bigger, I should quote too that "Rome was not built in a day". You should never over analyze anything and just go for it and start working on it because there is no way to know the future until and unless you step into the future. Let's take an example, I always thought of creating a Question/Answer website but thinking about StackOverflow and Quora I always hesitant about going for it. Thinking about who will us my website or how can I be better than those. But now I am motivating myself that whether a large number of people will be using it or not, may be there will be those 100 people who will benefit it from the website. It will not be a failure for me because I know that I will be successful if I create a website, I will be successful if I get those 100 users using my website, I will be successful to know my website running. Thus I will only say that Start working on your Project Ideas whether you will be successful or not, because failure is the new success.

Food Photography - Meal With Live Football Screening

    food-photography-meal-with-live-football-screening

Today went to watch France vs Denmark game in GLocal Junction Restaurant in Bangalore. They had quite a good offers going on while the match was screening. Being a vegetarian and non alcoholic, the choices are limited even though they had quite a good variety of veg food and mock-tails. I ordered Bruschetta which is an Italian dish, consisting of grilled bread and having toppings of olives, tomato, onion and cheese. ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmZrVoDTAfFZaoDVMbocQzwoPQLCMGDZZC48h8K7PbfaZV/image.png) I also ordered Chilly Paneer Pizza, which was quite yumm. ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVsmn9rpuMfVZou3ivNJ8jTpzJLG86NzNZK74w894NAro/image.png) ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaepo3W1hJ2LyAYyv93j8EMnVQmPy9LipbB46YgwETHRH/image.png) And last but not the least A Dessert to satisfy taste bud, Paan (Betel) Cheese Cake. ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXqG1tyUvi3PqmLuvwsyPydSkgnPzLnbqg7iTt55TWbMV/image.png) ### Camera : Nokia 6

ColorChallenge - Monday Red - Red Auditorium

I recently went to watch Jurassic World- The Fallen Kingdom in a new movie theater nearby and thus I amazed to see the creativeness inside the auditorium. Basically in an auditorium you do not want to see other than the screen but this made us to have a good look around in the interval as well as at the end of the movie . ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/iii5xvvz61.jpg)

    A walk beside the Lake

    June 22, 2018
    a-walk-beside-the-lake

Wouldn't it be good to have a lot of Lakes in the city where you can enjoy your free time just by walking beside it. This is what I love about Bangalore, once called as a City of Many Lakes because of so many lakes around but reduced to very few lakes, nowadays. Though still there are fewer lakes its better than other cities of India. So since Monsoon has already started its good to walk or sit beside the lake to get the cool breeze and get the grasp of nature. The images are clicked on my evening walk near the Nagawara Lake. Again the lake is well maintained and the whole family can visit and enjoy their time. ## People enjoying boating in the lake. ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdGHjBG24yQsiahWBReMkWpruJ8sQkJDrUTSmiyeNePQ9/image.png) ## A Duck flying over the lake ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQma4whcAwKdvzJEbRT3fYcLV6iSWBoTodowrs53LkJ7tyM/image.png) ## Again a beutiful scene of the lake ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcYK32k96wzaxTJz815V4QPvdhhdsqShmjDgXHCD3Qipf/image.png) ## Trying to capture a water droplet, failed miserably :( ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmW9JKgbGysiFuwW3ZmJpR294rDMEifXsH73Hmur1yw8Hr/image.png) ## Few more captures of the Water Droplets ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaAo3E9vqnc2q89csNjjVw3VK1ztpoA5TFuZohNMmhsKJ/image.png) ## Not so good photo ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeuKd2qwuCK1ZMj7XKG4XEAZvLXZ554jgvA5z6Yk5Tpkw/image.png) # Camera : Nokia 6

    Have you Reviewed Someone's Code

    June 21, 2018
    have-you-reviewed-someone-s-code

As a Utopian Moderator, there are numerous times we have to go through the code which we do not have much knowledge. Now reviewing that code is one of the challenging jobs, why because when you are going through the code you try to understand the context of the code and why the contributor has written it. Thus one of the reasons we ask the developers to write comments is that to know the context and what is he trying to do with the code. Without the comments the code presented is just piece of code which might be a solution to some problem, but if we do not know the problem we cannot judge efficiently that the code is written is good enough to be a solution to that problem or it can be written in a better way.

    ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmc1zE1ta9435zYyWc9k69VoiJVxBvtgg4DKnFeKrtvYxN/image.png)
PC : https://www.flickr.com/photos/cloneofsnake/4291278859 For example, if I ask someone to solve some problem, I know what is the context we are talking about and most probably I will understand all the code written even if I am not very much familiar of that programming language. Along with reviewing we are also learning some of the logic which we might not know in the past. Thus its a win situation for us too. Since as I already mentioned, the importance of commenting the code is not limiting for the users or moderators who are reviewing your changes. It will also be helpful for you in the future to know why have you chosen that logic (though refactoring will also help us to achieve that). But when you are refactoring please also try to explain what have you achieved after refactoring. When you think that there are better ways to do the logic rather than what you have written do write a question in the comment asking for suggestions or improvements.
